betcha didn't think you'd see a post from me on your Google Reader...

And I didn't think I'd be writing one! Hello friends. I hope you all had wonderful holidays and New Years' and are feeling productive and happy in the beginning of 2012! I've been feeling like something has been "off" for the last 6 months or so, and I think that goes hand-in-hand with my (long!) break from blogging. I wasn't blogging because I wasn't quite feeling like myself (and, uh, who can blog about themselves without really knowing what exactly that means), and in turn I was really missing this creative and supportive outlet in my life!

I still don't think I'll be churning out the posts because, unfortunately, I'm still stuck putting in 11 or 12 hour days at my all-consuming job, but I'd really like to jump back into this, reconnect with all of you (and I've been reading your blogs the entire time and following your wonderful adventures! It's been so fun to read about new engagements, new houses, new babies and fun parties!) and document a little more of my life here in LA. The adjustment has been w-e-i-r-d, to say the least, but I won't be here forever and when I'm gone I might just actually look back and wish I had taken more pictures and written more.

(I just re-read that last line and it sounded like a morbid meditation on life, when I really just mean I won't be in LA forever. Not, you know, on this earthly plane.)

It feels good to be back :)

  1. we should chat lady!!! would love to hear more about your transition to LA. i don't know if you've been following mine, but i kind of was in the same boat. i stopped blogging consistently because i felt a little lost in what to write about, and how to bring my new LA life into my blog, when it wasn't that glamorous. and today i actually wrote a post about my first 4 months in CA that's somewhat of an honest retrospective. maybe you'll be able to relate to some of it. i hope everything is going mostly good for you here!! it can take awhile to really make a place feel like home. email me sometime if you get a chance! {kinseymichaels AT gmail.com}

  3. Hello everyone! I write this article to appreciate the good work of DR OGALA that helped me recently to bring back my wife that left me for another man for the past 6 months. After seeing a comment of a woman on the internet testifying of how she was helped by DR OGALA. I also decided to contact him for help because all I wanted was for me to get my wife, happiness and to make sure that my child grows up with his mother. Am happy today that he helped me and I can proudly say that my wife is now with me again and she is now in love with me like never before. Are you in need of any help in your relationship like getting back your man, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend?  Viewers reading my post that needs the help of DR OGALA should contact him via E-mail: ogalasolutiontemple@gmail.com You  can also call or contact him via WhatsApp +2349123794867
